Volunteering

Did you know that at the High School level it takes over 300 parent volunteers in various areas of chaperones/costumes/roadies/etc. to assist with the concerts, fundraisers, and competition season of our 8 High School Choirs?

Did you know there is a parent organization board of 5 members and 10 committee chairs who assist the music directors during the year?

Did you know that NHSCPO provides multiple fund-raising opportunities during the year which include delivering flowers for local florist, Noblesville Got Talent, District Show Choir and Holiday Concerts which all rely on volunteer assistance?

Please take a moment to fill out this google doc to indicate what area(s) you would like to support your student in this coming year.

We need organizers, costumers, set builders, chaperones, data entry, ushers, ticket takers, fundraiser sorters, hall decorators, award sorters, banquet clean up, food donations and the list goes on. If you don’t see something you feel that you can help with, please email us and we can get you involved somewhere.

All volunteers in contact with the students must have Level Three Background check through the school. The information on that process is on the website.

As we regroup from this past year and a limited amount of fund-raising opportunities – NHSCPO is requiring each family to commit to two volunteer shifts at a concert, competition, NGT, etc. This can be any family member. If we are able to return to large group gatherings in which a snack/ meal can be provided (such as the beginning of the year Family Choir picnic), we are also asking for one food/water donation. This can be for any of the banquets/dinners or a concession item.

If you are unable to fulfill these requirements, there will be an additional $50 fee added to each family’s account. This fee will be added to the account of the oldest student in each family involved in the choir program on the final invoice.

Please reach out to anyone on the current NHSCPO board with questions or concerns.

Thank you for all your support this past year and we look forward to an even better 2021/22 season!
