Choir Educators

John Neubauer has taught for 32 years, serving in choral music director roles at high schools in Illinois, Indiana and California.  He has been in his current role as Director of Choirs at Noblesville High School since the Fall of 2016.

In addition to numerous choir championships, Mr. Neubauer also has been previously recognized as the Outstanding Illinois Arts Educator in 1998. He graduated from Millikin University (Decatur, Ill.) in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in music education and vocal/choral music education.

Julianne Fowler graduated from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with a Bachelors in Choral Music Education. During her time at IU, she toured with the Grammy-nominated Singing Hoosiers under the direction of Dr. Chris Albanese, and served as a choreographer, arranger, student director, and music education chair. Miss Fowler is from Brownsburg, Indiana, where she fell in love with music and has since worked as a show choir band member and private lesson teacher for many years.

Outside of teaching school, Miss Fowler is a trained ballroom dancer and has enjoyed choreographing and dancing within the competitive ballroom scene and in partnership with local schools and fundraisers. She enjoys cycling and spending time with her friends, family, and her cat, Ruthie. Miss Fowler is absolutely thrilled to begin her time at Noblesville High School. Go Millers!
